For technical support, contact Benco Sales at (931) 484-9578.
Please have your invoice, product, and batch number available when requesting assistance.
15. Product Recommendations and Testing
Benco Sales may recommend products based on the application, coating, substrate, process, equipment, and other information provided by the customer. Because actual operating and application conditions are outside Benco Sales’ control, a product recommendation does not guarantee a particular result or establish that the product is suitable for every application.
Benco Sales strongly recommends testing a sample or the smallest available quantity before purchasing a five-gallon pail, drum, tote, or other larger container for a new product or application.
If a customer elects to purchase a larger container without first testing the product, the customer accepts responsibility for determining product suitability. Dissatisfaction with performance, application results, working time, strength, odor, finish, or compatibility does not, by itself, establish that the product is defective.
Five-gallon pails and larger chemical containers purchased without prior testing are not returnable or refundable based solely on product suitability or performance expectations. This does not limit remedies for a confirmed product defect, shipping error, or product that does not meet Benco Sales’ published specifications.
Shipping, hazardous-material charges, accessorial charges, and other transportation costs are nonrefundable unless the issue resulted directly from an error by Benco Sales.
Any exception or goodwill adjustment is subject to management approval and does not establish a continuing obligation or precedent.
16. Product Concerns and Satisfaction Guarantee
Benco Sales stands behind the quality of the products it sells. Customers should inspect and, when appropriate, test products promptly after delivery.
Any concern involving product quality, condition, or performance should be reported to Benco Sales as soon as reasonably possible and no later than 30 calendar days after delivery. Continued use of a product after a concern is discovered may limit the remedies available.
To help Benco Sales investigate, we may need your order or invoice number, product and batch number, photographs, a description of the use, application, results, storage conditions, and any other applicable information. The product, original container, packaging, and remaining contents should be retained until Benco Sales completes its review or provides return or disposal instructions.
Benco Sales will work with each customer in good faith to investigate any concerns and will work to identify an appropriate solution. If the concern cannot be satisfactorily resolved, Benco Sales may, at its option, replace the affected unused product or refund the purchase price paid for the affected product. Any unused product must be returned to Benco for a refund.
This guarantee does not apply to issues resulting from improper storage, contamination, misuse, use contrary to product instructions or the Safety Data Sheet, incompatible substrates or materials, improper application conditions, customer equipment, normal product variation, or circumstances outside Benco Sales’ reasonable control. Claims submitted after 30 calendar days may be reviewed at Benco Sales’ discretion but are not guaranteed to qualify for replacement or refund.
Unless Benco Sales agrees otherwise in writing, remedies are limited to the affected product cost and do not include original freight, return freight, labor, equipment downtime, application costs, removal costs, or other incidental or consequential expenses.
